I was introduced to gardening via my grandmother’s kitchen garden when I was little. There was something so magical about being asked to go in the backyard and choose which vegetable I wanted to have for dinner. I grew a bigger love for gardening as an adult and have gardened in many different spaces over the last fifteen years - from desert to urban spaces to rural landscape to sea.
It has been a fun challenge to adapt the different gardening styles as well as spaces - from container patio gardening to several raised beds in a backyard. I am a lover of cut flowers and am passionate about elevating my home space with home grown blooms. One thing has stayed the same year after year and regardless of where I’m gardening: there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a tiny plant you started from seed or brought home from a nursery mature into what you’re sitting down to eat for dinner.
